The technical part of a commercial air conditioning installation is rarely the hard part. The hard part is doing it without shutting you down, without leaving dust across your stock, and without three separate trades blaming each other for the same delay.
Commercial units run many more hours than a domestic system, so the coils and drain trays get dirty faster. A periodic clean and sanitise keeps the air healthy for staff and customers, and when older units reach the end of their life our new for old replacement service swaps them out around your trading hours.

Every installation is carried out by licensed tradespeople and certified to Australian standards.

Efficient timely and expert installation of our Mitsubishi split system. So much better for health and pocket than cumbersome gas ducted heating. Thankyou

Yes. We handle shops, cafes, offices, clinics, childcare centres, warehouses and light industrial sites across Melbourne's eastern and south-eastern suburbs. Typical work is ceiling cassette supply and install for open areas, split systems for offices and consulting rooms, new for old replacements, and cleaning and sanitising. For very large or complex plant we will tell you honestly if a specialist mechanical contractor is the better fit — we would rather refer than over-reach.
Yes, and for most retail and hospitality clients that is exactly how we plan it. We stage installations across evenings, weekends or a scheduled shutdown so trading is not interrupted, and we keep work areas screened and clean between shifts. Out-of-hours work is priced into the quote up front so there are no surprises on the invoice.
Yes. Commercial units run long hours and the coil, fan barrel and drain tray build up dust, mould and bacteria faster than at home. Our clean and sanitise strips the indoor unit down, washes it through and finishes with an anti-bacterial sanitiser, and we can schedule it before or after trading hours. You receive a compliance certificate for the work, which is handy when a lease or insurer asks for records.
Yes. Our new for old replacement service is staged around your trading hours — early starts, after close or weekends — so one area is swapped at a time and the rest of the site stays conditioned. We recover the refrigerant from the old units, remove them from site, and reuse existing pipework and brackets where they test sound. Once they are in, a periodic clean and sanitise keeps staff and customers breathing cleaner air.
Commercial sizing has to account for far more than floor area. Occupancy density, equipment and lighting heat loads, kitchen extraction, door-open time on a shopfront, glazing and orientation, and any ventilation or fresh-air requirements all feed into the calculation. Getting it wrong in a commercial fit-out is expensive in both directions — undersized fails on your busiest days, oversized short-cycles and wastes capital. We calculate the load properly rather than scaling up a domestic rule of thumb.
A cassette sits flush in a suspended ceiling and discharges air from all four sides, which gives even distribution across an open area. They suit offices, retail floors and consulting rooms with a ceiling void to conceal them. If there is no suspended ceiling, or the void is too shallow, a high-wall split system is usually the alternative. See our cassette air conditioning page.
Yes. Every job comes with a compliance certificate, along with commissioning data for the installed plant, equipment documentation and warranty details. Refrigerant work is carried out under ARC licence L126509, and we are registered with the Building and Plumbing Commission (116236) and as an electrical contractor (REC 27289). If your landlord, building manager or insurer requires specific documentation, tell us at the quote stage and we will include it.
Routinely. Most of our commercial work is retrofit rather than new build, which means working around stock, furniture, ceiling services and other trades. We plan penetrations and pipe routes with your builder or shopfitter where there is one, protect finished surfaces, and clean down at the end of each shift so the space is presentable if you are trading the next morning.
We provide commercial air conditioning across Bayswater · Ringwood · Box Hill · Doncaster · Glen Waverley · Scoresby · Rowville · Knoxfield · Croydon · Dandenong and the wider eastern suburbs. See our eastern suburbs service area for the full list.
Send us the site details and we will assess the load and quote the work around your trading hours.
Tell us the premises type, approximate floor area, trading hours and what you have installed now. We will arrange a site visit at a time that suits.
